Colour block and you don’t STOP.

The best way to bring colour into your home is in blocks of brights that will enliven your space with minimal effort and maximum effect. Mix and match favourite colours or go bold and art-house with acid brights. My chosen theme is green, with lashings of lime to coordinate with my hanging plants and fridge friendly Richard Hutten leaves. Eco paints are the only way to make it happen and hip – the best of the bunch are Farrow and Ball, Newlife – shortlisted for 2012 Observer Ethical Awards and eico (see their sensational colour chart below from which I have ordered). Start small with just a door or placement piece but be sure to think outside the square and pick a shape, any shape and let your imagination run free. Colour your world.

Get inspired for your colour block assault via more art-house images from my Pinterest board devoted to this same beauty – colour block block.
