In a bid to catch up on current LFW, I will be going for fashion blogging gold today with a plethora of posts. Please excuse any grammatical slip-ups that occur in my haste. London Fashion Week is full of the creativity and energy of this wonderful city – the following posts show why London is the Fashion Capital. Pure joy. Watch LFW action LIVE if you wish – fashion in motion.
Corrupted collage + Zoot suiting at Basso + Brooke. Fantastic maximalist dressing, or great separates if it’s all too much for you at once. Is this the Power dressing of the future?…I sincerely hope so. Marni on acid.
Slavic roots + Cool colour block at Clements Riberio. Suzanne and Inacio’s cool marriage of sophistication and punkitude keep me coming back each season. The colour blocked intarsia knits, an old staple of the brand just re-introduced is the best way to wear cashmere.
Future fabrications + style-tribe at Simone Rocha. With fashion in her blood, dad is John Rocha – Simone’s own style goes from strength to strength each season. Her innovation with textiles and futuristic craft-work, plus the perspex soled brogues on every fashionistas hit-list make Simone the new face of LFW.
Pop rock and colour block at House of Holland. Henry has come a long way since his slogan tees and this is the first time I have been inspired enough to post about his collections. Cohesive, punchy – loved the flared pants especially and ready-to-wear. This and the fact that Henry is a PR genius is why HOH is stocked by some of the world’s best retailers.
