I’m running behind again on Fashion week updates, but had to quickly post about the recent Fendi show as part of Milan Fashion Week – MFW A/W 12. This will be my first posting on Fendi, but was gobsmacked by the gracious layering that Karl Lagerfeld sent down the catwalk this season. Loving a layer as I do, this show stands out due to the strict silhouettes and orgy of colour, textures and fabrications used in the complex construction of each garment and each catwalk look – thus creating many aspects of interest but without being heavy-handed. Karl Lagerfeld, is there nothing this man cannot do? Bundle up.
Hybrid tribe + Layering Love-in at Fendi. The smart use of stingray leather as print inspiration looks luscious on legs especially, giving an almost extraterrestrial vibe to the collection. Future fashion for sure.

A much nicer offering than usual from Fendi. Some of it looks more Prada than Fendi xoxo
Jussy, Best Fendi collection in years for sure. Looking forward to you being closer – when exactly? xx
