LFW A/W 12 – keep it coming.

Distorted shapes + Body map at Acne. It’s the very smart and odd colour couplings that Acne always do, that have me as a fan – combinations such as pistachio, pale blue, fluoro green and black or ox’s blood, salmon, white and pale peach. This collection has once and for all put Acne on the fashion map. Want the all-in-one for slouchy Sundays.

Morbid moire + women in sin at Christopher Kane. This is what London women want to wear – strict but slouchy clothes that are well dressed but easy to wear. Slouchy, sexy, cool. Who makes purple and black look so god damn good? Christopher Kane that’s who.

Precise peplums + courageous curves at Antonio Berardi. Another favourite designer from my days as a fashion student, from pop motorcycle leathers in the 90’s to clothes for oligarchs wives today – Antonio cuts seriously beautiful clothes. Body armour for the eternally chic.

Provocative posies + shady ladies at Erdem. Erdem Moralioglu is the mix-master of florals, and this season’s collection boasted a much darker and sinister side, which to me is much more appealing. Unsettling and definitely sexy – Erdem’s clothes need to be seen in the flesh as his working and re-working of a multitude of fabrics is beautiful on the eye.
