get yourself to the royal academy of arts for the last chance! (it ends 30th january – which actually doesn’t exist as a date – so hurry) to see the AWARE: ART FASHION IDENTITY exhibition. the exhibition comprises four sections: storytelling, building, performance and belonging + confronting as an examination of how artists and designers use clothing as a mechanism to communicate and reveal elements of our identity. names like martin margiela, yoko ono, grayson perry, alexander mcqueen and cindy sherman should help to get you there. i’m super bummed that i missed my buddies the broken hearts talk at a salon, as part of the exhibition last week – see link to what was said here.
